What's New at Craggy Coast - Spring 2007

Waves washing over the base of Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse.

Spring has finally arrived in New Hampshire, but not before winter went out with a blast. The historic Nor' Easter of April provided a good opportunity for lighthouse photography. Here is the best big breaker I captured during the peak of the storm:

A huge wave crashing into Whaleback Lighthouse

Last fall I was juried into membership in the New Hampshire Art Association. In May, I was accepted into the juried Lassonde Memorial Exhibition. This is the photograph that I submitted:

The Crow Tree

I recently learned that my tugboat painting sold!

Beginning in May, I'll be volunteering with Friends of Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse.

I was added to the board of directors of FPHL so I will be even more involved this year. Here I am helping to paint the oil house last spring. Photo by Bob Trapani of the American Lighthouse Foundation.

This year you'll find me and my photos at most FPHL Open Houses. Check FPHL's website for dates and times. We've added several more opportunities to tour the lighthouse this year. Come by and climb to the top of the tower. It's fun!
